Doug Cahn is co-founder of Better Buying (www.betterbuying.org), a global initiative that provides retailers, brands and suppliers a cloud-based platform to obtain data-driven insights into purchasing activities, resulting in sustainable partnerships.

He began his 27-year career in global supply chains at Reebok International after which he created The Cahn Group, a consultancy dedicated to corporate responsibility solutions. In addition to his expertise on responsible sourcing practices, he operates grievance channels in factories and on farms, including the highly successful Amader Kotha Helpline in the Bangladesh RMG sector.

He serves as a member of the board of directors of Verité, a non-profit organization dedicated to creating a world where people work under safe, fair, and legal conditions.
