No Time (or Plastic) to Waste!

Over 8.3 billion tonnes of plastic have been produced since the early 1950. Though some applications may seem excessive, we rely on this material in many ways. However, the widespread inability to reduce, reuse, recover, and recycle is gaining more and more attention globally.

To address and tackle this problem, cooperation between different sectors and new ways of thinking and doing business is required.

This session will get past the noise of “All plastics are bad” to present the business risks and opportunities in Asia. Organized by the CSR Centre at the Embassy of Sweden in Beijing, Consulate General of Sweden in Hong Kong and the Swedish Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong.
