The 3.5 million out-of-school children in ASEAN and China represent a critical gap in achieving access to education for all and sustainable economic growth in the region’s  emerging economies. Information and communication technology (ICT) offers vast opportunities to break down barriers to education but success requires more than investments in education technology.
