Join tech giant Huawei at this year’s CSR Asia Summit
Huawei has confirmed Gold level sponsorship for the CSR Asia Summit 2019. This is the fifth consecutive year that Huawei has supported Asia’s signature sustainability event.
As a global leader in information and communications technology (ICT) solutions, Huawei is committed to sustainable business practices. With nearly 188,000 employees and operations spanning more than 170 countries and regions, Huawei sees sustainability as not only the right thing to do, but as a way of boosting efficiency and competitiveness, and creating business value.
This year, Huawei’s Vice President Procurement and Chief Sustainability Officer Supply Chain, Alan Aicken, will join our Leadership Panel to share experiences and insights from managing environmental and social impacts across a global value chain.
We will also hear from Richard Liu, Head of Sustainability, Huawei Consumers Business Group, who joins the session on Big Data, Technology and Sustainability in the Age of Digital Transformation on Day 2 of the Summit. He will share how Huawei is using artificial intelligence (AI) to help empower disabled children through two innovations: Track AI, a system that supports fast, accurate and automatic diagnosis of visual disorders in children and infants to facilitate timely intervention and prevent long term impairment; and STORYSIGN, a first-of-its-kind free application that translates selected children’s storybooks into sign language to help deaf children learn to read.
Join us in Bangkok next week to hear from Huawei and other leading sustainability practitioners and experts!
