Founder and CEO, V Resorts

Aditi is the Founder & CEO of V Resorts, an asset light hospitality company that runs resorts in the upscale offbeat segment of the Indian leisure Industry. Having previously worked with marquee names such as Barings Private Equity, McKinsey & Company, etc. she has extensive hands-on experience in management and business leadership. An MBA from ISB Hyderabad & Fuqua, Duke University she has demonstrated success towards significantly increasing enterprise value.

This is her first venture outside of finance, which has seen two successive rounds of funding raised from known VC investors such as Bedrock, Seedfund and RB Investments. Within a span of less than five years, Aditi has led the company’s expansion to 120 resorts across 21 states in India, making it the first branded resorts of its kind in the offbeat travel category. With properties employing 90% local staff, ensuring 100% local procurement, and assimilating local culture, V Resorts has been continuously working around the 12 sustainable development goals propounded by UNWTO for the development of circular and inclusive economies. At the recently held 15th UNWTO Awards in St Petersburg, V Resorts has been recognized and awarded for its efforts in sustainable tourism.

A powerful voice in the advocacy of fostering entrepreneurship in women, Aditi has held sessions with the women’s SIG and was part of start up jury at TiE (The Indus Entreprenuers). In 2014, she was felicitated with the Women ‘Honor for Excellence’ award by Mediavision.

  • Aditi also recognises her social responsibilities, and continues to be an active part of various initiatives such as:
  • TIE, Charter Member – for actively fostering entrepreneurship in India
  • Jan Madhyam – an NGO for creating employability for mentally challenged girls
  • Round Table International – promoting community service through fellowship.

In addition, Aditi has also been a faculty at Infinity Business School, where she launched and coached the young women’s leadership program – YWLP. She has also leant her expertise to various industry forums, including appearing as a speaker at the ASSOCHAM Luxury Summit.

Aditi is in the process of writing her first book, which uses the past and present socio-economic conditions of the country as a backdrop to dissect and gives insight into the prevalent human psyche in India. She has been passionate about travelling since the young age of six, and has travelled across 5 continents and over 135 cities till date.
