Alessa is a Responsible Sourcing Manager for ELEVATE based in London. She manages a portfolio of clients, focused on strategic programme development, monitoring and facilitating audit and wider responsible sourcing programmes. Prior to ELEVATE, she worked with the Ethical Trading Initiative. She initially worked across all sectors managing member relationships and monitoring programme development whilst developing extensive experience in agricultural supply chains. In this space, she was responsible for multi-stakeholder engagement, dispute resolution and facilitation and developing and leading several innovative programmes – focusing on migrant workers. Alessa has native fluency in Spanish and French and a MA in Globalisation and Development from the University of Warwick. Originally from San Francisco, she has been in the UK for over 10 years.
