Beat is a founding partner of BSD Consulting, an ELEVATE company. He has extensive project experience − mainly in strategy development, stakeholder engagement, and coordination of development and fair trade projects.

He is a certified Associate Sustainability Assurance Practitioner and acts as a trainer of the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) in Brazil. Being a trained SA8000 auditor, he is also the authorized representative of the Social Accountability Initiative (SAI) in Brazil.

Beat speaks fluent Portuguese, German, English, and French.
