Carmen Lau

Project Manager, CSR Asia

Carmen works with her clients to better their understanding of sustainability, helping to guide their efforts in addressing and communicating sustainability performance.

Since joining CSR Asia, Carmen has coordinated international sustainability conferences, conducted research on ESG trends and has helped to compile several sustainability reports. In early 2018, she helped to plan, coordinate and facilitate a series of workshops and site visits around Hong Kong to promote shared value projects: Bringing both private sector, social enterprises and NGOs together to conceptualist co-creation projects to address social issues such as aging society, food waste, accessibility, housing and at-risk youth.

Her clients include the British Consulate-General Gangzhou, Café de Coral, the Global Reporting Initiative and PCCW-HKT.

Prior to joining CSR Asia, Carmen spent four years working for environmental non-profit organisations in Hong Kong, managing CSR projects for companies including Link REIT, Great Eagle Holdings and Kerry Holdings. She also led an environmental consultancy project for Tsui Wah Group and public education programmes on waste management for the HKSAR Government’s Environmental Protection Department.

Carmen holds a Masters of Science in Environmental Management from the University of Hong Kong, a Masters of Science in Management from University of Warwick, UK, and a Bachelor of Arts in Hospitality Management from University of Derby, UK.
