Daniele Giomi
Associate Director, Europe Operations
Daniele has been managing the European assessment operations at ELEVATE since January 2017. His areas of expertise include quality assurance, internal auditing and supplier validation. Daniele is responsible for managing the recruitment, orientation and on-boarding of European auditors as well as ensuring the competency and consistency of the operation of audits and other service provisions in Europe.
He has over 17 years’ experience developing and managing social and security audit programs around the world, working with hundreds of factories and assisting suppliers on building remediation initiatives and robust social practices. Previously at Walmart, Daniele was responsible for all of the company’s social compliance activities in Europe, Turkey, Israel and North Africa. Daniele was also their representative on the Global Social Compliance Program (GSCP), and team leader for education and training programs.
In addition to the retail sector, Daniele has extensive experience in the pharmaceutical sector. While working for Baxter International, he managed production sites, engaged in research and development, and was a member of Baxter’s European Chemistry Council.
