Denise leads Kroger’s environmental, social and governance (ESG) strategy and its Zero Hunger | Zero Waste social and environmental impact plan. She leads a team responsible for ESG topic management, including food access, climate impact, responsible sourcing and human rights; reporting and disclosure; and stakeholder engagement. She also serves as president of The Kroger Co. Zero Hunger | Zero Waste Foundation, a nonprofit public charity established in 2018 to align philanthropy to the company’s mission and direct catalytic capital to innovative ideas with potential to change the food system.
