Dr. Arongkot Khosshasarn

Based in Thailand, Arongkot has partnered with The Mekong Sustainable Manufacturing Alliance to deliver the social awareness trainings and factory engagement programs. He has over 10 years’ experience working with migrant labour issues in Thailand including Anti-Trafficking in Persons, Forced Labor, Child Labor, Business & Human Rights, Labor Risks Identification, Environment Social and Governance (ESG)/Sustainability and social factory assessment.

Prior to that, he was a Team Leader, Business and Human Rights, where managing and oversaw the operations and performance of the Thai Business & Human Rights Members and advance the work of “Labor Monitoring and Solutions” including Ethical Recruitment Strategy with Thai Businesses, through fieldwork, data collection & documentation through effective convening, information exchange and diplomacy with representatives. Arongkot also has experience as a National Project Officer at Issara Institute, where was provided technical assistance to private sector-oriented work by working with a field team that will be engaging the factory and fishing company owners regarding trafficking risk in their workplace and supply chain, assist with labor impact assessments

Arongkot Khosshasarn holds a Ph. D. in Educational Administration and master’s degree of Economics in International Business at The University of the Thai Chamber of Commerce.
