Helen Roeth

Senior Manager, ELEVATE

Helen is a senior manager who manages the ELEVATE Strategic Partner Program across the Asia-Pacific region.

She has extensive experience in sustainability reporting, stakeholder engagement, sustainability benchmarking and carbon auditing. She has issued and co-authored several research and best practice papers on disaster preparedness and resilience, climate change adaptation and mitigation, and corporate philanthropy. She has led numerous business engagement processes such as conferences and round tables. Helen is also the editor of Tracking the Trends 2019 – Volume 1 which reports on expert stakeholder views of the sustainability topics that will define the Asia-Pacific region in the years ahead.

Helen has worked with numerous corporate clients such as Prudence Foundation, KPMG, AEDAS, Cathay Pacific, PCCW, and Sun Hung Kai Properties, as well as with non-governmental and inter-governmental organisations including APEC, the Swedish International Development Agency, Oxfam GB and UNISDR.

Prior to joining CSR Asia, Helen worked with the UNESCO Regional Science Bureau for Asia and the Pacific in Jakarta where she coordinated community-based disaster risk management programs.

Helen has more than 10 years’ experience in international development and CSR and holds a M.Sc. Spatial Planning from the Technical University of Dortmund, Germany.
