Compliance & Sustainability Director, Lidl HK Ltd
After finalizing her Bachelor degree in Social Anthropology in 1998, Hilde was internally recruited from Hennes & Mauritz (H&M) Marketing & Sales office in Norway to build up H&Ms first Social Compliance program in Asia Pacific based in Hong Kong. In 2003 she was recruited into the adidas Groups Social & Environmental Affairs Department where she managed multiple teams located in satellite offices around Asia Pacific, while running capacity building and training programs such as the rights of migrant workers, health & safety, FOA, worker empowerment etc. She has been actively engaging with other brands, believes in multi-stakeholder initiatives and collaboration. Hilde was recruited into Lidl Hong Kong Limited in 2015 to head up the Compliance & Sustainability program for Lidl HK Global Supply chain and to build up an internal Team. Hilde was invited to become a Board Member of the Mekong Club in 2016, an association fighting Modern Day Slavery and was invited to become a Board of Director of Amfori in June 2018, an leading global business association that promotes open and sustainable trade.
