Jenefa leads the Responsible Sourcing program at JCPenney for South Asia, Middle East and Africa. She is a dynamic, forward thinking leader with a broad understanding of responsible sourcing and sustainability. She also has a good understanding of the global picture and is able to relate and translate situations to the national context.

With 20 years’ experience in social responsibility and supply chain, Jenefa is a visionary who oversees strategic planning, crisis management, program development and implementation. She is passionate about rolling out sustainable practices in the supply chain that mitigate risk and bring about long-term partnership based on transparency and accountability.

Previously, Jenefa worked with GAP and Tesco. She was a practicing lawyer and has also worked as a consultant for several agencies including the BGMEA, ILO, UNDP, BRAC & SEBA.

Jenefa is a Barrister-at-Law from Lincolns Inn, UK.
