Global Engagement Manager, Thomson Reuters

Jo leads stakeholder engagement and thought leadership activities for Thomson Reuters, Customer & Third Party Risk. Jo works with stakeholders from business, civil society and governments to drive best thinking in responsible business practices and risk management for customer due diligence, supply chains and other business relationships.

Jo sits on a number of committees and working groups including the B20 Beneficial Ownership Working Group, the Business Principles for Countering Bribery Steering Committee as well as UN Global Compact’s Supply Chain Sustainability Advisory Group. She is also a non-exec Board Director of the UN Global Compact’s UK Network.

Prior to joining Thomson Reuters in 2015, Jo worked for SEDEX (a not for profit organisation helping companies monitor and manage responsible supply chains) where she led the creation, implementation and monitoring of the Sedex stakeholder and audit strategy. This combined with her previous roles at companies including PepsiCo and Premier Foods have provided a strong foundation and insight into both commercial and sustainability challenges.

Jo is passionate about responsible business and the role that companies, civil society and we as individuals can play in driving improvements in the standards for workers, society and the environment worldwide.
