Lesley Abraham leads CARE’s Made by Women strategy focused on the economic empowerment of women garment workers. She has been working in the international development sector for nearly 15 years, with extensive experience with both non-profit and government organizations in Africa, Asia, North America and the Caribbean. She has been based in Asia for the past seven years working primarily on issues related to women’s economic justice and gender equality. She holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Alberta and a Master of Arts from the Norman Paterson School of International Affairs.
