Li spent eight years in the environmental consulting services industry. She led on climate change related projects including CDP, climate related risk & opportunities identification, strategy development and reporting. Li is a certified Carbon Auditor Professional (CAP).

Prior to joining CSR Asia, she spent three years working for a Swiss environmental consulting firm where she mainly focused on climate change and water resources management related projects (e.g. Sino-Swiss project Jinsha River Basin Integrated Water Resources and Risk Management under Climate Change, http://jinsha-adapt.org/) and she was leading in business development of contaminated site management business field in China. She also worked for AECOM and ERM where she specialised in Environmental Site Assessment, Environmental Health Safety, Social due diligence assessments throughout China for international clients.

Li holds a MSc degree in Environmental Technology and BSc degree in Chemistry with Management from Imperial College London, UK.
