Luke has a food and beverage (F&B) background and was trained in Switzerland. During the 1980s he worked in Singapore’s F&B industry. He has led casework and advocacy with HOME since 2011. Luke’s passion was driven by his earlier work in the Singapore shipyards where he encountered first-hand the exploitation and abuse of migrant workers by employers, which ranged from small subcontractors to yard owners. This experience fueled his passion to support workers on their journey.
