Marco has over 20 years’ experience in different markets, from components to automotive, different functions (purchasing/quality/production/plant management) and different regions worldwide. In addition to his role at Philips, Marco is also on the Board of Directors at RBA (formerly EICC).

At Philips, Marco guides his team to constantly improve performance and improve people’s lives. He also helps suppliers to be more sustainable and cost effective in their work. He has led Philips to develop five core programs that are helping to lead sustainability into the the future. One of these programs is the Sustainable Performance program which has encouraged the organization to step outside its comfort zone (auditing) and implement a new approach based upon joining forces without penalties.

Marco holds a degree in Physics and Business Administration.
