Michael Khorsandi

Vice President, Trade and Regulatory Counsel, Ross Stores Inc.

Michael J. Khorsandi is Vice President and Trade and Regulatory Compliance Counsel at Ross Stores, Inc. (“Ross”), a $14b revenue Fortune 500 company that operates the largest off-price apparel and home fashion chain in the United States.  Based in New York, Michael leads a team responsible for advising on regulatory areas that impact cross-border movements, domestic distribution and warehousing for products.  Additionally, Michael’s team is responsible for managing and enhancing Ross’ overseas factory social compliance program.

Prior to Ross, Michael advised U.S. and multinational companies on a variety of international trade and customs matters as an associate attorney with Grunfeld, Desiderio, Lebowitz, Silverman & Klestadt LLP and as a consultant with PricewaterhouseCoopers’ World-trade Management Services team.

Michael is a licensed customs broker who has also taught Customs Law at Baruch College’s school of Continuing and Professional Studies and has co-taught a Customs Broker License Preparation Course.

Michael is a graduate of Brooklyn Law School (J.D.), Centre d’Etudes de Recherches Internationales et Stratégiques (CERIS) (M.A.) and Carleton College (B.A.).
