Nguyen Ngoc Huy is a Senior Climate Change Advisor at Oxfam in Vietnam and the Asia region.  

Huy has over 15 years of experience in researching and implementing development projects on climate change and disaster risk reduction in Asian and Pacific countries. Huy is currently working on building climate change resilience, applying ICT in natural disaster early warning, reducing greenhouse gas emissions and renewable energy transition.

Prior to joining Oxfam, Huy has worked for UNISDR, UNESCO, IFAD, and many other international organizations.  He holds a PhD in Global Environmental Studies in 2010 from Kyoto University, Japan.
