Rick Darling is Executive Director of LF Americas, overseeing the wholesale and distribution business in the US. His responsibilities also include Li & Fung’s Vendor Compliance & Sustainability business as well as the Government and Public Affairs overseeing government relations, public affairs and supply chain sustainability on global industry and multi-stakeholder initiatives for Li & Fung.

Prior to his current role, Rick was President of LF USA overseeing Li & Fung’s portfolio of brands and heading up DSG, Li & Fung’s dedicated sourcing group servicing Wal-Mart globally.

Before joining Li & Fung, Rick founded the Millwork Trading Co., Ltd, a joint venture with Li & Fung that became a wholly-owned subsidiary from 1999 to 2014.

Rick is a board member of the American Apparel & Footwear Association, delivering good and, on the Board of Governors of Parsons, The New School for Design and the Board of Advisors for Cornell University ILR School New Conservation Project. Rick also represents Li & Fung on the Center for Retailing Excellence Executive Board of the Sam M. Walton College of Business at the University of Arkansas, the Alliance for Bangladesh Worker Safety and The Accord on Fire and Building Safety in Bangladesh.
