Director, Corporate Social Responsibility

Sam Shiroff is the Director of Corporate Social Responsibility at Signet Jewelers since October 2015. Signet’s focuses its CSR efforts on underserved women and children.

Sam combines 17 years of international corporate CSR, reporting, sustainability, NGO and communication experience with a deep knowledge of supply chains, resource efficiency as well as the IGO and non-profit world. Sam is a LEED GA, GRI certified and speaks fluent German.

Prior to Signet, Sam was a Vice President in Edelman’s Chicago Business + Social Purpose Practice where he consulted Fortune 500 companies on their corporate responsibility and sustainability strategy, execution and communications. Before joining Edelman in July 2013, Sam was the Senior Sustainability Strategist at Bosch Home Appliances. Sam’s experience also includes working in Deutsche Bank’s CSR department as well as four years as the Executive Director of a non-profit organization. Sam has a B.A. from Boston College and an MBA from Colorado State University. Sam was awarded a Fulbright Scholarship in 1998, which was completed at Frankfurt University in Frankfurt am Main, Germany.
