Vice President of Procurement Asia Pacific, Accor Asia Pacific

With over 26 years of exemplary supply chain and procurement experience, Sebastien Brunel assumed the role of Vice President Procurement Asia Pacific based in Singapore on 1 September 2019.  Sebastien started his journey with Accor in Operations within the Sofitel and Novotel brands.  Since then, he has held various leadership positions starting in Europe, before implementing the procurement for Accor South America.

In his most recent position, Sebastien joined Accor North America with Accor’s acquisition of FRHI (Raffles, Fairmont and Swissôtel) as part of the integration team for these new brands. During this tenure, Sebastien was an active member of Avendra, the largest GPO (Group Procurement Organisation) in North America.

Following his move from North America to Singapore, Sebastien provides strategic counsel for Accor’s procurement management across the Asia Pacific.  His remit is to open new markets and further optimise opportunities at more than 1,100 hotels and resorts within this region.

A pro-active leader with extensive national and international experience, Sebastien is an empowering figure in the Accor team with a proven track record of success in the Service and Retail sector.

Sebastien is a graduate in Hospitality Business and completed an MBA in International Business Management at the FGV San Paulo (Brazil), with an international extension at the University of Hong Kong and the Irvine University California (USA).

Passionate about sustainability and Accor’s Planet 21 programme, Sebastien believes that procurement is the key to help reduce food wastage at the very source for Accor Asia Pacific.
