Tess Zinnes

Project Manager, Sustainability Consulting, ELEVATE

Tess is a Project Manager at ELEVATE based in Singapore. She advises clients on stakeholder engagement, community investing, and program evaluation across a variety of industries in Southeast and East Asia. Tess also has experience developing content for and organising sustainability workshops and large-scale events. Recent projects involve stakeholder engagement for a social networking service, sustainability strategy development for an international tobacco company, and a program evaluation for an international energy company.

Prior to ELEVATE, Tess oversaw consulting projects at the Product Stewardship Institute for US state governments and businesses seeking to boost the recycling of consumer products. During this period, she implemented state-wide producer responsibility projects in the paint, textile, and lighting industries that typically involved lobbying, consumer education, and program evaluation.

Tess completed a Master’s in Public Policy from Duke University where she specialized at the nexus of international development and corporate social responsibility. Her Bachelor’s degree is in Environmental Science and Policy and Anthropology from Smith College. She is fluent in English and Spanish.
