Valerie joined Pacific Market International (PMI) in 1995 with experience in design, product development and quality. In 1997, Valerie initiated PMI’s first Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program. She is currently responsible for global Corporate Social Responsibility and Philanthropy at PMI. Established in 1983, privately-held PMI designs, manufactures and markets innovative food and beverage solutions designed for busy lifestyles and operates offices on four continents.
Valerie is a Board Member of Nature Vision, a non-profit organization in the Seattle, Washington metropolitan area that fosters appreciation and stewardship of the environment through integration of school and community for a sustainable future. She is also a member of the following professional organizations: American Society for Quality, International Society of Sustainability Professionals, and the Outdoor Industry Association Sustainability Advisory Council.
