Senior Manager, Ethical Sourcing, Starbucks Coffee Company

Jamie is the primary Ethical Sourcing point of contact for the Seattle Sourcing Department overseeing manufactured goods as well as food and beverage ingredients. She partners closely with the sourcing teams to integrate Ethical Sourcing criteria into overall sourcing strategies and business decisions, provides strategic counsel on the continuous improvement process for suppliers/factories and guides the development of training and tools to equip the sourcing teams, suppliers and factories to manage Ethical Sourcing.

Jamie has developed a robust Ethical Sourcing engagement and training program, managed the development of the Starbucks technology platform supporting process and data for suppliers and factories, and overseen the relationships with key monitoring service providers.

Jamie has been a Starbucks partner for 14 years. She has held positions within Starbucks Coffee International, Global Social Impact, and Global Supply Chain Operations.

Jamie is a Wisconsin native but headed south and graduated from the University of Alabama with a BS in Human and Environmental Sciences. In her spare time Jamie enjoys cooking and entertaining with friends and family. She and her husband love animals and currently have one dog and one cat. They take pleasure in tending to their quarter acre of garden including 3 hens. When time permits, Jamie creates handcrafted jewelry to raise money for silent auctions, most of which benefit animals in need.
