SAC Chief Technology Officer John Armstrong leads the development of Higg Index technology. Prior to joining the SAC, he cofounded Bright & Shiny, a design and technology consulting firm, providing services to a wide variety of clients in Sustainability, Biotech and Consumer services. Previously, he was the director of technology at frog design, SF, where he led a team of design technologists in pursuit of next generation concepts for a variety of organizations including Disney, Intel and Proctor & Gamble.

He has deep experience in launching products for both startups as well as large publicly traded companies, is responsible for key patents relating to cloud-based printing technology and has successfully delivered products and services both direct to consumer as well as through complex OEM relationships.
