Christian Wards, Director of Group Healthcare, Group Healthcare, AIA

Dr Christian Wards is AIA’s Director of Group Healthcare, leading the development of a more effective customer health journey and improved customer experience across the Asia region. AIA Group is the largest independent publicly listed pan-Asian life insurance group.

Christian has 19 years of international experience in healthcare from across the health insurance, healthcare provision and health service sectors in a wide number of geographies including North America, Europe, Asia and the Middle East.

Prior to joining AIA, Christian was Managing Director of Bupa’s health insurance business in Hong Kong.

Earlier in his career, Christian practised hospital medicine in New Zealand and the UK.
