Associate Director, Supply Chain Consulting
Bruce Thomson is based in ELEVATE’s New York City office. He oversees North America sustainability consulting services and leads ELEVATE’s Supply Chain Risk, Segmentation, and Corporate Strategy practice as well as ESG advisory for the financial services sector.
Prior to ELEVATE, Bruce was co-founder and CEO of BrightLabel, a supply chain transparency and sustainability start-up for the textiles, apparel, and fashion industry. He spent over 5 years as a trade economist and project management specialist at the World Bank and the UN, where he designed and ran regional value chain development projects in Asia and Sub-Saharan Africa. During the Obama Administration, Bruce worked for the United States Trade Representative (USTR) where he helped negotiate the textiles and apparel provisions of US trade agreements.
Bruce earned his Master of Science in Foreign Service with a concentration in International Finance & Economics from Georgetown University and graduated Phi Beta Kappa with honors in Political Science from Wake Forest University.
