Joanna is the Head of Global Engagement and partnerships on the Social Responsibility team within Amazon, and is based out of Seattle, Washington. Joanna started in Amazon’s legal department, and has worked on Amazon’s Social Responsibility team over nine years. She has been responsible for writing the organization’s human rights policies, managing the risk assessment and investigations program, and developing the enterprise-wide human rights team. In her current role, she is leads a global team that interfaces directly with suppliers and vendors across various industries, launching strategic partnerships and developing innovative technologies to help protect workers.

Joanna holds a Juris Doctorate (J.D.) from the University of Washington School of Law and is barred in Washington State. Additionally, she holds a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Sociology.
