Head of Social Impact, Primark’s Ethical Trade and Environmental Sustainability

Lindsey is Head of Social Impact in Primark’s Ethical Trade and Environmental Sustainability team where she oversees after a global portfolio of programmes and partnerships that support Human Rights Due Diligence and decent work across Primark’s supply chain. She also oversees Primark’s Sustainable Cotton Programme which supports over 250,000 farmers across India, Pakistan and Bangladesh. Prior to working at Primark, Lindsey spent 10 years with the UK Government as an economic advisor in the Department for International Development (DFID), completing overseas postings in the Caribbean, Nigeria and India. Lindsey holds two master’s degrees; an MSc in Development Economics from SOAS, University of London and, more recently (2020), an MSt in Sustainable Leadership from the Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership (CISL) at the University of Cambridge. She is also an Overseas Development Institute (ODI) Fellow (Fiji, 2000-03).
