Melissa was born in Manila, Philippines but her adventurous spirit took her around the world and back again. She first moved to Bangkok, Thailand in 2006, where she cut her teeth in marketing and communications for 7 years. She then moved to Doha, Qatar, for a chance to once again test her ability to adapt and thrive.

During her time in Qatar, Melissa was part of Team Y&R in Doha, where she managed the Agency’s highest value accounts including McDonald’s Qatar, Hamad Medical Corporation (Qatar’s national healthcare provider), Alfardan Group (one of the leading conglomerates in the GCC), Al Rayyan Hospitality (one of Qatar’s leading hospitality development and management companies), La Cigale Hotel, Souq Waqif Boutique Hotels, and Doha Festival City, to name a few.

Now back in Thailand, Melissa heads Membership Relations at PATA, developing and executing effective membership recruitment, retention and engagement plans for the Association. Melissa is proud to lead the Membership Relations team and is committed to serving the best interest of the PATA community.
