Michael Blanding is the Director of Corporate Responsibility for Intercontinental Hotels Group (IHG). In this role, he oversees the environmental sustainability and community sustainability efforts of IHG’s hotels across Europe, Asia Pacific, the Middle-East, and Africa. He is also responsible for identifying local charitable projects to receive grant funding from the IHG Foundation.

A graduate from Cornell University’s School of Hotel Administration, Michael has been growing his career with IHG for the last ten years. He has held roles in distribution marketing, brand management, talent resourcing, employer branding, and employee engagement.
