Thomas Zumbühl is based in ELEVATE’s office in Zurich, where he is co-leading the Advisory EUROPE team. At ELEVATE Europe, he oversees projects mainly in the energy, utilities, and manufacturing sector. He is responsible for topics like assessments of climate and environmental impacts, risk analysis, assessments of responsible sourcing programs and strategy development.

Since 2013, Thomas has been leading and working on various projects on sustainable resource management, climate strategy, environmental management and responsible (public) procurement.

Prior to ELEVATE, Thomas worked for a leading engineering company specializing in consulting, planning and implementation of projects in the fields of process, environmental and civil engineering.

Thomas graduated from ETH Zurich with a Master of Science in Environmental Sciences.

He is fluent in German and English.
