Umar Ashfaq co-leads the Americas ESG and climate research team for MSCI ESG Research. His prior experience includes equity research and investment due diligence in emerging markets in the Middle East and Pakistan. He holds a master in environmental policy from Columbia University, and a BSc in math from Lahore University of Management Sciences (Pakistan).
