Getting to grips with the EU Deforestation Regulation (EUDR)

  • September 28, 2023

Please note that this webinar is in English.

Learn how the EUDR may affect you and how you can start addressing your due diligence.

The EU Deforestation Regulation (EUDR) will apply from 30 December 2024. As a result, companies that are established or do business in the EU will be required to fulfil a number of due diligence obligations to ensure their products are deforestation-free when they place relevant commodities or products on the EU market or make them available as part of a commercial activity.

You need to watch this webinar if your company does business in the EU and is active in e.g. the agriculture, chemicals, cosmetics, foods and/or furniture sectors or otherwise uses, trades with or distributes the key commodities cattle, cocoa, coffee, oil palm, rubber, and/or soya beans, as well as their derivatives.

After watching, you should be able to navigate through the EUDR’s key elements, understand whether and why requirements should be addressed within your company, and have a first idea on how to practically implement necessary next steps.

Our webinar provides actionable answers to the following questions:

  • What is behind the EU Deforestation Regulation?
  • Are you affected and what do you need to consider?
  • How to get started in setting up your due diligence?
