The Role of ICT in Realising Education for All by 2030
Focusing on the role that technology can play in helping achieve United Nations Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) number four (SDG4), this report encourages prioritisation of equitable access to quality education for all ages and to fill gaps in education systems worldwide. Used strategically, ICT can dramatically enhance education equity, quality and efficiency through its ability to facilitate fast, synergetic and scalable change. Investing in ICT and education is a prerequisite to invest in the future. It is about conveying knowledge, connecting the ecosystem and fostering collaboration between teachers, students, parents, and school administrators, anytime and anywhere. It is about making people, communities, and nations more competitive. Everyone has a role to play.
