Biodegradable Bags and Plastic Straw Bans – Looking Beyond the Trends in Plastic Pollution Reduction

  • World Ballroom A, 23/F
  • 19 September 2019
  • 11:00-12:30 (BKK Time)

Awareness and action is increasing to fight plastic pollution. We know the issues: That plastic may one day out number fish in the sea and that we may be consuming a credit card’s worth of plastic each week. How do we move the conversation forward?

In this session, we will hear from expert panelists who are all challenging traditional systems of production and consumption. Focusing on looking beyond the trends and myths, panelists will share strategies used within their own companies to reduce plastic pollution and the journey it took to get there.
